Sensor API

Every sensor of the Atmy map with its location, network, quality check and readings: PM1, PM2.5, PM10, temperature, humidity, pressure and the other channels the device reports. Sign in, create a Developer Quick Key and send it with each request.

Get a key

The key belongs to your Atmy account: one key per account, shown once when created. You can reissue or revoke it at any time, and the old key stops working at once.

Authentication

Send the key in the X-Atmy-Key header or as Authorization: Bearer. Keep it on your server: do not put it into a web page or an app.

Quality check

Every night Atmy checks the completed day of each sensor. Sensors that fail stay in the API with quality.pm_eligible = false and the reasons, so you decide yourself. City values and the map use only the sensors that pass. Readings are what the device sent, without corrections.

Limits

60 requests a minute and 10 000 a UTC day per key. Each answer carries X-RateLimit-Remaining and X-RateLimit-Daily-Remaining.

License

Each sensor names its network and that network’s license: Sensor.Community — ODbL 1.0 / DbCL 1.0, AirGradient — CC BY-SA 4.0. Credit Atmy and the network. PurpleAir sensors are not included: their terms do not allow redistribution. Your own hidden sensors are visible only to your key.
