1. Four data layers

Atmy separates:

1. Account Data — account operation/security.
2. Private Sensor Data — device/environmental information associated with your private account.
3. Public Environmental Data — a separate projection created only after you choose to publish a sensor.
4. Aggregated or Derived Data — statistics, forecasts, trends and other outputs.

These layers must not be treated as one database object merely for implementation convenience.

02

2. Private by default

A newly connected sensor is private unless the interface clearly tells you otherwise before publication. Configuring location does not itself make a sensor public.

03

3. Original sensor data

You retain any rights you have in original environmental measurements generated by your device. Atmy receives the rights necessary to provide requested features.

04

4. Publishing a sensor

If you explicitly choose Public, Atmy may create a public environmental projection containing fields such as public station ID, timestamp, environmental measurements, AQI and an approved/reduced-precision public location.

The public projection must not intentionally include email, account ID, auth/session data, private user ID, health profile, notification settings, messaging identifiers or private exact location where the product is configured to hide it.

05

5. Public location

A private installation coordinate and public map coordinate may differ. Atmy may reduce public precision to protect household privacy. Any future exact-public-location feature must be a separate clear choice.

06

6. Public APIs and third-party copies

Public environmental information may appear on the Atmy Map, public APIs, summaries, research or aggregated datasets. Third parties may copy genuinely public information.

Changing a sensor to private stops future Atmy publication but cannot guarantee deletion of copies already obtained by third parties.

07

7. Derived information

Atmy may create trends, forecasts, AQI classifications, regional aggregates and model outputs. Atmy will not describe data as anonymous if it can still reasonably connect it to an identifiable person.

08

8. Region separation

RU and GLOBAL private data are separate regional datasets. Public datasets must be produced through a dedicated publication transform; private account records must not be replicated cross-region merely to populate a map.

09

9. Deletion

Account deletion removes/de-links account relationships according to Atmy retention rules. Atmy cannot guarantee deletion of independent third-party copies of previously public information.
